Welcome to Play Rangers, Batheaston Church School’s Breakfast and After School Club
At Batheaston Church School we are able to provide care for your child from 7.45am to 6.00pm. We have excellent facilities such as the school hall, the Music Pavilion room and Mike’s Meadow. Play Rangers are supervised by experienced and familiar adults, all adults have been fully DBS checked as the children’s safety is a priority at Play Rangers.
For Breakfast Club we are able to offer structured activities and a healthy, filling breakfast ready for the children to start their school day. Start: 7.45am – 8.50am
During After School Club we provide a range of child-centred, creative activities are provided, with lots of opportunities for outdoor play, sports and trips to the park. We take advantage of the playground, Lapa area and Mike’s Meadow whenever possible, and have an excellent range of resources, such as textiles; arts and crafts, lots of board games, puzzles etc. The children particularly enjoy playing together in mixed age groups and making friends with children in other classes. Start: 3.20pm – 6pm
If children wish a quiet space can be found for them to do their homework. There is supervised access to iPads and laptops. Optionally a film may be watched if children are tired or if the weather is too wet or cold for outside play.
